Are We Lessening The Value Of God’s Creation?

How we reckon with others is important in the sense that every person is created in the image of God. If we dare not reconcile, then we risk devaluing something God chose to create and that God Himself values. What does it say about our attitude toward God when in our eyes we lessen the value of something He created?
